Installing the Gigabyte A320MS2H Motherboard I recently purchased a new motherboard - the ATX Gigabyte B550 Aorus Elite, and this came with a "Gigabyte G Connector" which I hadn't used previously For instance, the following image shows the location of the Front Panel Connectors on my motherboard, Gigabyte GA P67A UD3: Source: Gigabyte Manual.

Most of the front panel functions will be provided from JFP1, while the speaker beep code will be available at JFP2 This is not a mistake and is not USB: Using it does not require a breakout adapter…unless you have an oddball motherboard as we'll discuss below

Luckily this fixes a big problem that I have with computer builds - the dreaded front panel connector cables (from the case IO panel, for the power switch, activity LEDs and more).
